Back from Cyber Hell

After much frustration and annoyance, I have restored my blog to its original state...So again, apologies for the absence of information... but here's the news today:

Reuters reports that Bush has flip-flopped on his statement that the War on Terror Can't be won. On the second day of the RNC Convention, Dubya realized his comments caused such a fuss that in a speech to the American Legion, he stated, "We meet today in a time of war for our country, a war we did not start, but one that we will win," Bush told the group.
"It's a different type of war. We may never sit down at a peace table, but make no mistake about it, we are winning and we will win." Well the "war on terror" has been superceded by the War on Iraq. Instead of focusing the enormous military might of the U.S. in Afghanistan, he decided, along with the rest of daddy's cartel, that Iraq needed "liberation." Now the Taliban is reemerging from its ouster, sharing the substantial profits from the opium trade with terrorist organizations. This could have, and should have been the focus of this inept administration.
