Kapinsky: I Didn't Know

Reuters reports that in an interview with the BBC radio, Brig. General Janis Karpinski, formerly in charge of Abu Ghraib prison stated that the abuse of detainees was deliberately concealed from her. She referred to a "very reliable witness" who had stated that specific measures were in place to keep her from having any access to the "interrogation techniques" and, even access to the facility itself. It seems to me that who[m]ever was involved in the cover-up may have some answers as to how far up this goes. Personally speaking, I would demand much more accountability and consideration of this issue by Sec. Rumsfeld...but oh, I forgot. He is part of the Busiad, and as you know, the Busiad accounts to no one (at least not publically).
