PELTIER FOR PRESIDENT

On Sunday, members of the California Peace and Freedom Party opted to nominate jailed American Indian activist Leonard Peltier, rather than Ralph Nader. The CPF party had its weekend convention in Los Angeles. Nader, who is running for president as an independent, addressed delegates who represent 80,000 members of the California Peace and Freedom Party. Although I am very familiar with Leonard Peltier (read Larry Mathesson's book "In the Spirit of Crazy Horse) and have corresponded directly with this profound man, he is in federal custody, living out a life term which despite appeals for pardon, go unheeded. Is Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary going to be the new Whitehouse? Maybe the Bushiads can "visit" there once removed from office; may they enjoy an extended stay in the event the American public demands retribution for the crimes perpetrated by this administration.
