Because of the ominous occassion marking the 1,000 US casualties in Iraq since the invasion, I will focus most of the posts today on the War, its toll on survivors and it's bleak prospects for speedy resolution. I will therefore, dedicate this day to the organizations of families and vets who oppose the atrocities carried out in the name of a imbecile despot.
