The Most Dangerous President:
Bush's Presidency puts us ALL in danger of being murdrered by Al Qaeda:
On August 6, 2001, Bush was Given a Security Briefing Entitled, "Bin Laden Determined to Strike In U.S." Yet, Come September 11th, He Ended Up in a Second-Grader's Chair, Having Failed to Protect the Nation, as America Was Under Attack. On page 375 of the St. Martin's Press paperback edition of the "9/11 Report" by the "National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States" is a security briefing paper presented to Bush and Condi Rice on August 6, 2001, that was entitled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike In U.S."
The report indicated that "FBI information ...indicates patterns of suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks."
Then why, on the morning of September 11th, did George W. Bush sit in a Florida elementary school classroom for five minutes after being informed of a second plane being flown into the twin towers -- and mingle with the class and teachers for ANOTHER five minutes before he left the room? Why did he not ask Andrew Card one single question about the attack underway when Card whispered in his ear (since Bush already knew about the first plane crashing into one of the twin towers when he entered the classroom)? Why did he not recall the August briefing that warned of such an attack, or did he? And he just didn't know what to do because he had failed to take action to prevent the hijackings the memo had warned about? -- Buzzflash Editorial
That's an excellent question. How mindless are the Republitards that are still going to vote for this man?
On September 11, 2001 there were four hijacked airplanes. Bush was warned on Aug 6th (one month and 5 days) of attacks in a report titled, "Bin Laden Determined To Strike In Us" which detailed training for hijacking airplanes. On the morning of September 11th I'm sure he was aware that there was more than one hijacked airplane, even if he didn't know the exact number. Once the first plane hit the WTC, if he had any brain at all, it should have clicked that the other hijacked aircraft were headed for buildings as well and that he needed to do something, anything!
The information was there, and should have been obvious to Bush. Certianly after the SECOND plane hit a building, and there were still two more planes in the air, the pattern should have been obvious. The third plane should never have reached the Pentagon 35 minutes later. I'll excuse the first plane not making a patttern, but the second plane, that makes a pattern, and 35 minutes is enough time to scramble fighers.
Really though, how much of a pattern does it make? The people on the fourth plane figured out the pattern before Bush did, and downed the plane themselves. Without the CIA, or the FBI, or the FAA, or NORAD to tell them, they knew the pattern, and downed that plane. Bush the incompetent meanwhile was at Booker Elementry listening to children read, having been informed of the hijacked planes and that two had already hit their targets.
8:46 am Flight United 11 Hits WTC 19:03 am Flight United 175 Hits WTC 2 (17 Min After WTC1)9:38 am Flight AA 77 hits Pentagon (52 Min After WTC1, 35 Min WTC2)10:06am Flight United 93 Crashed By Passengers. (1:20 After WTC1)
Scrambled fighter flight time from nearest Air Force base to Washington DC: 10 minutes.
At the very least the people at the Pentagon died because of his incompetence. If planes had been hijacked, that's a national emergency (regardless if they had hit something yet.) Why did he continue on to the elementry school when he was needed to head the executive branch in rescueing a hijacked airplane? After the planes started hitting the school, why did he just sit there, doing nothing?
Why? He is incompetent, and we are all in danger because of it.
